Transitioning from high school academics to collegiate level courses can be scary. Classes are bigger, faces are less familiar, and you may be faced with other challenges such holding yourself accountable to going to classes and managing your time. What makes Phi Mu so great is that all of those unfamiliar faces become your study buddies, tutors, mentors, and cheerleaders.

Because academics are the reason that we are here, Phi Mu provides many resources that help our sisters reach their academic goals. As Academic Chair it is my goal to make our members feel supported in their academic endeavors while maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle. To do so, we have a weekly study hall available that sisters can attend after chapter meetings, provide incentives to encourage success in the classroom, and can help with accessing other resources on campus.

One of the best things about Phi Mu is that we have such a large support system, which means you can skip the line at the tutoring center and ask a sister for help. With such an academically diverse chapter, there is always a sister who is willing to help you in your field of study. There is nothing better than a little coffee and familiar face to help get you through the long nights at the library.

Though CNU provides many resources to help students be successful, I could not imagine going through college without my Phi Mu sisters who will never stop being your cheerleaders both in and out of the classroom!
